Reminder: Ensuring Safety During Drop-Off and Pick-Up Times

At Chalgrove, the safety of our children and families is always our top priority. We would like to remind all parents and carers of some important guidelines to help keep everyone safe and maintain a respectful environment during drop-off and pick-up times.

Traffic Flow and Safety

We have noticed that some vehicles are performing three-point turns on the road near the school. While this is not against the law, it can cause significant disruption during busy periods. Larger vehicles have also been observed mounting kerbs and driveways, creating potential risks for children and families walking on the pavements.

To help reduce these risks and improve traffic flow, we kindly ask all parents and carers to avoid three-point turns and instead drive around the block wherever possible.

Respecting Our Neighbours

We have received feedback from local residents regarding blocked driveways during school hours. Even when waiting in vehicles, blocking driveways causes inconvenience and disrupts access for our neighbours. We respectfully ask that all driveways remain clear at all times.
