School Uniform

School Uniform

At Chalgrove, we expect all children to wear school uniform. Our uniform is simple, affordable, and widely available in supermarkets. We do not want to place a financial burden on families by requiring expensive, custom items.

There is the option to purchase a school jumper or cardigan with our logo, but this is not compulsory.

Winter Uniform

  • Dark grey trousers, skirt, or pinafore dress

  • Light blue collared shirt or polo shirt

  • Royal blue jumper, sweatshirt, or cardigan (with or without logo)

  • Black sensible shoes/boots or plain black trainers

  • Black, grey, or white socks or tights

Summer Uniform

  • Smart, tailored dark grey shorts

  • Light blue and white gingham checked/striped dress

  • Black or white sandals

PE Kit (to be worn on PE days only)

  • Plain white t-shirt or polo shirt

  • Dark blue/black shorts or jogging bottoms

  • Black plimsolls or black/white trainers

(Optional school logo PE bags and book bags are available from the school office.)

Hair

  • Long hair must be tied back and kept away from the eyes.

  • Hairbands and head coverings should be plain and in navy blue, black, white, or grey.

Jewellery

  • Jewellery is not allowed, except:

    • Small stud earrings

    • A simple watch

    • A piece of jewellery worn for religious reasons
