School Day

8:40am – Gates Open
Children are allowed onto the grounds at this time.
Only Forest Lodge, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 parents are allowed to walk their children around to the classrooms in the morning. 

8:40am – 8.50am – Soft start
Children can go into class and quietly sit down to an activity whilst waiting for the actual start of the school day at 8.50am.

8:50am – Learning Starts
If you are late, we kindly request you go in via the School Office and sign in the late book.

10:00am – 10:15am – Year 1, 2 & 3 Morning Playtime

10:15am – 10.30am – Year 4, 5 & 6 Morning Playtime

11.45pm – 12.30pm – Reception, Year 1, 2 & 3 Lunch

12:30pm – 1.15pm – Year 4, 5 & 6 Lunch

1:15pm – Afternoon Session

Year 1 and 2 have a small afternoon playtime break at an appropriate time.

3:15pm – Home Time
Children will be taken to the school office if not collected from the classroom at the end of the day.  Only those children for whom we have written permission from parents/carers are allowed to leave school without a responsible adult.  Please do keep us informed as to who will be collecting your child.  It is also good to tell your son or daughter as this helps them not to become distressed.  If you know you are going to be late please do try to let us know if possible, as this again will help your child.

3:15pm – After School Clubs
We have a varied programme of after school clubs, activities and sports.
