Chalgrove School Daily Timings

8:40am – Gates Open
Children are allowed onto the school grounds from this time. Parents of Forest Lodge, Reception, Year 1, and Year 2 may accompany their children to the classrooms.

8:40am – 8:50am – Soft Start
Children can enter their classrooms and quietly begin an activity while waiting for the official start of the school day.

8:50am – Learning Starts
Lessons begin promptly at 8:50am. Late arrivals should report to the School Office to sign in.

Morning Playtimes

• 10:00am – 10:15am: Year 1 & 2

• 10:15am – 10:30am: Year 3,4, 5 & 6

Lunch Times

• 11:45am – 12:30pm: Reception, Year 1 & 2 

• 12:30pm – 1:15pm: Year 3, 4, 5 & 6

1:15pm – Afternoon Session
Year 1 and 2 have a short afternoon playtime at a suitable time.

3:15pm – Home Time
Children will be taken to the School Office if not collected from the classroom. Only children with written permission may leave without a responsible adult. Please inform us in advance who will be collecting your child and, if possible, notify us if you will be late to help reduce any distress.

3:15pm – After School Clubs
A wide range of clubs, activities, and sports are available after school.
