Quality of Education
Writing- To improve the quality of writing by: Continuing to embed AFL to ensure high quality writing and progress in the basic skills To improve the teaching of spelling and grammar to ensure impact on writing Reading- To improve the progress in reading in KS2 by: Continuing to embed a high-quality reading curriculum across the school Developing a systematic approach to teaching reading and catch-up reading intervention in KS2 Inclusion- To continue embedding adaptive teaching which allows all children have access to the curriculum Curriculum- To develop knowledge planners for history to ensure knowledge and skills are clearly planned |
Behaviour and attitudes
To improve the attendance and punctuality of children with persistent absences especially children with SEND To Improve behaviour for learning attitudes in order to create a safe, calm, and positive environment that maximizes engagement in the classroom for all children |
Leadership and management
Develop new members of SLT to ensure impact in their areas To develop new Middle leaders (Literacy, phonics and maths) |
Personal development
To continue to embed strategies to help children to manage their anxiety and wellbeing i.e zones of regulation and mindfulness |
EYFS/YR1
To develop communication and language to support children’s reading and writing progress To ensure the curriculum is highly engaging and full of opportunities for children to explore and develop the basic skills in literacy in maths
